IVF Store Cupboard
Below are some suggestions of things to stock up on before starting IVF so that you always have some nutritious foods to hand.
All green foods are helpful to support the Liver function.
Dandelion tea: good to help a congested liver, also improves digestion, nettle tea for the blood
Green tea: contains catechins which help protect the liver.
Essential fatty acids; eating oily fish is also good for the liver.
A good supply of nuts and seeds, good for snacks as high protein and good fats.
Beans, soya, lentil etc all high in protein
Tofu
Good supply of chicken stock home made if possible (you can prepare before hand and freeze it).
Chlorella, spirulina and whey protein all good non-animal sources of protein, essential for the production of embryos.
Oily fish such as mackeral
Plenty of leafy green vegetables (organic if possible)
Seasonal foods and herbs
You will need to drink plenty of water so try to avoid plastic bottles in favor of glass. Try and buy in bulk.
