Ear nose and throat

Acupuncture can be safely used for adults and children in the treatment of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) conditions. Certain common but pervasive problems such as hayfever, sinusitis and rhinitis can cause a great deal of distress for the sufferer.

Acupuncture provides patients with a gentle and effective approach to treatment, which is tailored to the individual. We can help improve immunity and strengthen the body’s energy reserves. This reduces susceptibility to infections and chronic conditions, whilst at the same time tackling symptoms such as nasal congestion and headaches.

When treating children tiny needles are used, causing minimal discomfort to the child. Often a course of treatment is suggested, along with dietary advice and tips.

For patients with seasonal symptoms, treatment needs to start 2 months prior to their most vulnerable time of year in order to build up resistance in the body.
