Welcome

OUR PHILOSOPHY
In our fertility clinic we provide an integrated approach, offering acupuncture for fertility, gynaecology and pregnancy advice as well as other supporting therapies. We aim to support women through every life stage, and offer specific help for women with infertility issues.
The patient's personal experience of her health is central to how we diagnose. The practitioner works closely with the patient and observes where the disharmony exists and then provides a complete package of care according to the patient's individual needs. We are medically led, taking the majority of our referrals from medics, but we do accept self-referrals and are also able to refer to medical specialists as appropriate.
Many women are instinctively aware that physical problems can have their roots in emotional difficulties, or that emotional difficulties impact on the physical problem. It is important to take this into account when we diagnose your state of health and decide our approach.
Our extensive experience has given us a unique overview of many different systems of medicine, each of which significantly contributes to a positive therapeutic outcome for the patient. While we specialise in fertility awareness and acupuncture, it is important to emphasise that we also offer support for a broad range of health conditions, including for men (see male fertility).

From Vogue: Emma Cannon supports women trying to fall pregnant both naturally and through IVF. Emma's is a mind-body approach: "making the connection between their physical bodies and their emotions." Cannon does a "360-degree diagnosis" on new patients, looking at the body, its environments (food, lifestyle), and psychology. Then she will advise on nutrition and prescribe a course of acupuncture or complementary medicine - or refer patients elsewhere if she thinks them best served by Western methods. "We might look younger for longer," she says ruefully, "but you can't botox your ovaries."
